Band I · Frühling
Rotmütz findet ein Zuhause
Long, long ago a small gnome came walking into the Eulenwald — and looked, quietly and practically, for the one place that would hold him.
The series
Long, long ago, in the owl-quiet wood, there lived a small gnome with a red cap. Every creature knew his quiet step among moss, roots and fern. Four books follow him through one year — one for each season, each complete in itself, all told in the same plain, warm, handmade voice.
Band I · Frühling
Long, long ago a small gnome came walking into the Eulenwald — and looked, quietly and practically, for the one place that would hold him.
Band II · Sommer
The forest is cool and dark and known. The meadow beyond it is bright, loud and entirely new — and something out there is calling for help.
Band III · Herbst
In autumn the Kiepe grows heavy: nuts, seeds, a lost button, one red leaf too beautiful to leave. But a full basket is only the middle of the story.
Band IV · Winter
The longest night of the year is long even for a gnome. Rotmütz trims his lantern, sets out one more bowl than he needs, and listens to the snow.
