The Journey Has Just Begun

The Tawnywood Tales grew from the German Eulenwald stories — a woodland world of gnomes, animals, hidden homes and winding paths. With this book, that world begins a new journey in English.

At their heart, these stories invite children to look closely at nature and to meet even the smallest and most easily overlooked creatures with curiosity and care. In Tawnywood there are storms, mishaps and moments of danger, but also warm fires, shared meals, helping hands and friends who do not leave one another alone.

Redwyn may be small, yet he shows that courage does not have to be loud. Sometimes it begins simply by noticing who needs help and finding a way to make things better.
